Since I recently turned 30, I wanted to make a list of my top 30 recommended books. This was so hard because I don't like picking favorites. Typically the category is too broad, like what is your favorite food? Do you mean a food I think I could eat forever and not get tired of it? My favorite indulgence? Favorite isn't a category on its own, however, throughout the 30 years I have been on this earth... well, i guess for the 26 years I have been reading.
Anyway, here's a list of books I think you should read in no particular order:
the handmaid's tale by margaret atwood
breakfast of champions by kurt vonnegut
slaughter-house five by kurt vonnegut
mistborn by brandon sanderson
